Living for over 8 years in the UAE and witnessing the significant development of the Emirates of Abu Dhabi and Dubai, it has greatly changed my perspective on the world and in particular the built environment, for which I have a strong desire to build a career around. This has also been underpinned through extensive travel.

Living overseas has exposed me to a wide range of different cultures and lifestyles, which has helped me become more understanding and culturally aware of others, better preparing me for dealing with situations in the work environment. These experiences have helped to develop both my communication and people skills allowing me to confidently work in team/group situations. I am a team player, as well as having the ability to take the lead in group projects with an aim of producing pieces of work which both encapsulate everyone’s ideas, balanced against the need to use the relevant points to deliver the brief.

I am customer and service delivery focussed, having spent periods in the hospitality sector and my role as a trained lifeguard, which requires me to have the responsibility for the safety of others.
